As mentioned earlier that mixture of gram flour and other ingredients can enhance its benefit to our skin. The first ingredient that you want to add is rose water.
1.Gram Flour and Rose Water
All you need to do for this mask is combine 2 tablespoon of gram flour with 4 tablespoon of rose water. Stir them gently and well. After you reach the creamy texture of face mask that won’t drip when you apply them, apply the mixture to your skin and leave it for about 20 minutes. When it’s dry, wash your face with cool running water until clean and pat it dry with clean towel. If you have no allergic reaction to any of the above ingredients, repeat the use of this mask to have lighter skin tone.
2.Gram Flour and Lemon Juice
The second useful ingredient that you can add is lemon juice. For this mask you will need 1 tablespoon of gram flour, 1 tablespoon of milk cream and ½ tablespoon of honey and of course 2 or 3 drops of lemon juice. Mix them well and once it turns to paste, apply it on your skin and it will dry naturally. Once they are evenly dry, wash your face with warm water followed by cold water and then dry your skin with clean towel. Repeat this treatment every day for about 4 weeks for maximum result.
3.Gram Flour and Cucumber
You can also add cucumber juice in your gram flour mask. You will need 2 tablespoon of each cucumber juice and gram flour combined with 3 drops of lemon juice or a bit more if you have not reached the right paste consistency. Stir everything and apply the mask on your face. Let it dry for about 30 minutes and scrub them off of your skin with cold water and make sure that you dry your skin well after application of this mask. Repeating this treatment every day for about 3 weeks can help to lighten your skin tone.
4.Gram Flour and Almonds
Adding almonds can also add more benefit to your gram flour mask. All you need to have is 4 – 6 almonds soaked overnight and peeled. Put the almonds in the food processor and blend them until they reach smooth fine paste texture. Add 2 teaspoon of gram flour, 1 teaspoon of milk, and 3 drops of lemon juice. Stir all of them together well and apply on your skin. Leave it for about 30 minutes before rinsing it with cool water and dry your face with clean soft cloth.
Unfortunately all of the above recipes will not last for long time. Hence, only make enough for 1 time use only. Applying moisturizer or sun screen to your skin can enhance or maximize the result from the above masks that are used regularly. Sun screen can protect your skin from all the spots that might appear due to its direct exposure with the sun and pollution.
Since all the ingredients are all natural, there should not be any side effect of all the masks that are mentioned above. However, should there be any side effect appear on your skin after using one of the above mask, it is necessary to see your dermatologist to avoid any further unwanted result.
