S. W. Hu

Harvard Medical School

S.W. Hu has spent most of her life in the beautiful islands of Hawaii. She recently graduated with Honors, Distinction, and Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University, from which she obtained a B.S. in Biological Sciences, and is currently a student at Harvard Medical School, reveling in learning about all things medical. Medicine has been her lifelong passion, and she has fallen in love with the detail, the cognitive problem-solving, and the shrewd visual inspection involved in dermatology. As S.W. has always enjoyed writing and the arts as well, joining Dermanities just seemed a perfect fit!

In whatever spare time she can manage to scavenge, S.W. enjoys playing the piano, singing, dancing, traveling, conversing with friends, and experimenting with photography and cooking. Although a longtime Hawaiian with an affinity for warm weather, beaches, and tropical sunsets, she has come to appreciate Boston as well and looks forward to learning and living as much as possible in the next few years.
