Dr. Kieron Leslie was born and bred in the green and pleasant pastures of England’s home counties. He attended the Royal London Hospital where he was awarded a medical degree. He also is a graduate of St Bartholomew’s Hospital where he was awarded a bachelors degree in clinical science. He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2000. He is currently completing a dermatology residency in Norwich, United Kingdom.
He has a special interest in the history of dermatology. This has resulted in numerous publications in this field. In 2002 Dr Leslie was awarded The Darrell Wilkinson Prize for best historical presentation at the annual BAD conference. Other research interests include HIV and tropical dermatology. He has always been a keen medical educationalist and has always injected humour into his teaching sessions.
Outside of medicine, the dramatic arts have been a consuming passion. He has written and directed numerous plays and revues. Two of his plays have been performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which were critically acclaimed. He also enjoys opera and various water-sports.
